Fifty Weeks -The Miscalculated 411

I realized last week that I had skipped week 44! I have been miscalculating my baby’s age.  She is 50 weeks old today.

I can not believe that in a mere two weeks, my baby will be a one year old !

Here she is playing with an early birthday gift from two of our friends.

We have started potty training and she has pee-pee’d in the potty three times now !  She gets a kick out of the cheers the seat gives as she uses the potty.  The first two times the chimes scared her.

Snuggle time !

Swim lessons !

Our 11 month pic.

Forty-Nine Weeks Old – The 411

Can you believe in 3 short weeks, my little angel will be a year old?

Wow ! Where had the time gone?

I still have not found a surrogate who can carry for me.  I so want another baby ! I have had a few dreams that baby girl had a baby brother and I can see the face so clearly.  I am not certain if that is God trying to tell me something or not….

My daughter is a handful all on her own so we are good for right now !

I am trying to learn how to control her little temper without having to resort to popping her legs or hands.  No means absolutely nothing to her ! This baby is soooooo me ! Lol.

Eleven Months Old – The 411

Can you believe that it has been eleven months since I was sent to the hospital, straight from my 36 week MFM and OB appointment, to prep for a cesarean birth of this precious angel?

Eleven months ago !!

I am still trying to wrap my mind around the fact that I have a baby girl.  She is a culmination of my every dream come true. It still feels surreal.

I lie still at night in the wee hours and watch her sleep.  I sit in awe of God’s grace and His gift to me.

My daughter has met and exceeded all expected milestones, despite being born a month early.

She will soon be walking unassisted.  The only thing she has not gotten yet is teeth.  For a baby who has been teething since two months old, I fully expected to see two teeth spring up on the bottom by now, but no such luck. Teeth will poke through the gums when they are good and ready.

Babies look so funny when teeth start coming in anyway so I should be more patient.

I still can not believe that in a month I will be celebrating my daughter’s first birthday. One whole year ! Unbelievable.
